About Dr. A.

Dr. Celeste Marie Alexander is the Teacher Excellence Coordinator at Arkansas River Education Service Cooperative.  She helps teachers to achieve more success, satisfaction, and happiness in their careers.

Celeste graduated with honors from Pine Bluff High School earning the distinction of class salutatorian. As a National Merit Semi-finalist and Gates Millennium Scholar, she matriculated to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock as a Donaghey Scholar. She continued academic excellence by graduating summa cum laude with dual degrees in Mathematics and Radio/TV/Film with an emphasis in News Broadcasting and Journalism. In addition, she continued her studies in the performing arts with a minor in Theatre and Dance. She was honored to be the valedictorian of UALR's 2003 graduating class receiving the distinguished Whitbeck Memorial Award.

Celeste continued her education at the University of Arkansas at Monticello earning a Masters of Arts in Teaching and at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California earning a Doctorate of Education in Educational Technology.

Celeste enjoys many hobbies including singing, dancing, modeling, reading, and playing the piano. She loves to perform and can often be seen on stages throughout central Arkansas. She volunteers in her community serving as a youth mentor, church pianist, and adult advisor for Teen Promise, Inc. Celeste is a devout Christian who holds a certificate in theology and ministry from Princeton Theological Seminary.
